Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

This position is a front-line reception and administrative support position for a busy child development/psychology clinic. It is fast-paced, high-intensity, and only suitable for people who enjoy being busy and challenged while having an amazing team of big-hearted humans to work with. You have to love people AND be intense about attention to detail. If these are not your thing, you will drown in this position. If these are your thing, you will love it!

As a suitable candidate, you will have:

Familiarity with Jane practice management software
College certificate or diploma in a medical office/ Admin assistant or related field; or a bachelor’s degree

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet our clients in a welcoming and professional manner that has every single one of them feel welcome and at home
Answer incoming calls and appropriately respond to or refer client inquiries
Receive and process payments from clients
Reply to all incoming emails
Use Jane to manage appointments and client intake assessments
Perform other duties as directed

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications including Excel;
Proficiency in Jane practice management software
College certificate or diploma in medical office/ Admin assistant or related field; or a bachelor’s degree

Experience:

Three to five years of experience as Administrative Assistant
This is a full-time position with immediate start Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (37.5 hours weekly)
Wage: $23/hour with performance-based opportunity for increases
