Jenny Fang

Jenny Fang is a doctoral-level quadrilingual (English, Mandarin, Japanese and Taiwanese) registered Clinical Counsellor in the beautiful province of British Columbia and Marriage and Family Therapist in sunny Southern California. She has been a trained family therapist for 16 years and is on a mission to restore wounded family relationships and connection, particularly in the areas of parent-child/teen relationship and parenting. In her professional journey, she has been sought out by psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide support for struggling families as a result of her specialities and effectiveness in treating family trauma and (re)building family resilience and identity. Jenny is passionate about incorporating an enjoyable, interactive experience to expand world views and possibilities as well as motivating change in her client family of all ages.

In her clinical work, Jenny tailors the integration of science-based therapies and alternative, holistic approaches to ensure treatment effectiveness and growth in the client family. Her interventions include, but are not limited to: Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Intergenerational Family Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation, Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR), EMDR-Sand tray, Attachment-based Play Therapy, Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, Guided Imagery, Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Therapy, Systemic Perspective, Spirituality, and other multidisciplinary practices as needed.
