Dr. Diana has been employed as a school psychologist within the British Columbia school system for over 20 years supporting students and their families throughout their educational journey. She has extensive experience completing psycho-educational evaluations and connecting the latest educational research to practical interventions and everyday supports. Her areas of interest include the understanding and coordination of the parts and processes integral in supporting students and their families (individual learning profiles, peer relations, connections within school and the community), with the goal of addressing individual needs in developing a plan of care to help students be successful at home, at school, and throughout life.
Diana holds a doctorate in Education in Mind, Brain and Teaching from Johns Hopkins University, an M.A. in School Psychology from the University of British Columbia and a B.Ed in Elementary Special Education from the University of Alberta. Diana serves as an assessment clinician with supervision provided by Registered Psychologist Dr. Vanessa Lapointe, #1856.
